Casaundra May and James - Blues from the Heart, from the Heart of Skagit Valley.
After working hard for 16 months playing both publicly & privately, we are excited to be celebrating our 100th show!
We will have games, prizes, laughter, gourmet hotdogs, craft & draft beverages, friendly staff & of course some good ‘ole, foot stompin,’ hoot hollerin’ roots blues.
We aim to please, give you goosebumps & begging for more!
Casaundra May’s vocal stylings remind us of the great singers from the golden age of the Blues - Bessie Smith, Ida Cox, and of course Etta James. But she is no impersonator. To her singing she brings the honesty and integrity of a life lived on her terms, filled with joys and sorrows, and it blossoms into beauty through her music.
